Rheia (Grieks: 'Ρέα) of Rhea (verlatiniseerd) is een figuur uit de Griekse mythologie, die woonde bij de berg Ida op Kreta. Rhea was een van de Titanen. Haar echtgenoot in de Griekse mythologie was Kronos. Haar kinderen waren Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, Hades, Zeus. Ze werd geïdentificeerd met de Klein-Aziatische Cybele, en Rhea Cybele genoemd. De Grieken noemen de aarde Gaea als haar moeder, hoewel ze ook wel met haar wordt vereenzelvigd. Haar vader was de hemel Uranus.

Electronic Paper is Eco Friendly Computing

Instead of stupidly trying to push the developing worlds old discarded power consuming discarded junk PC's to the less-developed countries. These countries should jump straight past the western worlds digital age mistakes and go for real usable and Eco-friendly tech, like Electronic Paper.

Like the iLaid from iRex, a company from the Netherlands just in my own home town of Amsterdam.


It is too expansive for me to buy now but price of this little wonder will drop soon when mass production of the ePaper displays takes off.


Of course the device has 802.11G WiFi build in, but the most striking fact is that the display works the opposite way like a LCD, it gets better readability in brighter ambient light (like sunshine...)
